More Generation 1 Japan News
Protoman Gaming has posted a video review of the Android/iOS game QTransformers: Convoy no Nazo, a remake of the classically horrible Transformers Famicom game. It's a free-to-play game where you buy continues, using the original game's legendary difficulty in possibly the most sinister way possible. Keep reading to see the video!
Hero-X has revealed the package art for the premium figure for Transformers Generations 2014 Volume 1, Trainbot Shouki with Targetmaster Daniel! Shouki is a Headmasters Trainbot recolor of Classics Astrotrain, and his Targetmaster is none other than Daniel Witwicky, taken from a Power Core Combiners mold (funnily enough named Groundspike.) The alternate transformation of the mold from claw to bow is also pretty clever. Keep reading for the picture!
HeroX/Million Publishing have put up new images of Generations 2014 Vol. 2's exclusive GoShooter figure and his Mini-Con Headmaster Junior stand-in, Shuta Go. It's a pretty nice recolor of the Bumblebee/Goldfire/Nightbeat mold- not a favorite of mine but fairly solid all in all. Keep reading to see the photos!
Thanks to MASABON1980 who has posted a nice collection of images from the TF Expo 2014 going on in Japan that gives us a look at the extensive Transformers toys collection that is on display at the show. Beginning with the Diaclone line, there appears to be nearly all of the main-line Transformers released in Japan shown by release group. There are also a number of rare items on show including concept prototypes of Unicron, Rodimus, Sixshot, Wheelie and many others as well as looks at the design process and more that you can see after the jump.
Planet Iacon has posted the first image of Million Publishing's Goshooter, the winner of the Generations 2014 Fan's Choice poll that ran over June and July. Goshooter - a character from Masterforce - is a recolor of the upcoming Generations Nightbeat, which is from the Generations Bumblebee/Goldfire mold but with a new head. He comes with a representation of his human Headmaster Jr. partner Shuta Go made from Legends Blazemaster- appropriately also originally partnered with a Bumblebee mold.
