Tony Todd Hints That He May Play Human Role in Transformers 3

By bwbm on Tuesday, April 27, 2010

A report by "Keroshino" from the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo 2010 claims that Tony Todd hinted that he may play the role of a human in the upcoming Transformers 3, which would give the actor another role beyond The Fallen in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

Mr. Todd revealed in an interview back in February that he would return to the third installment of the robot franchise, but did not specify the role back then, but "Keroshino" reports that when asked during an autograph session whether or not he would return, Mr. Todd confirmed again he would, and "might be playing a human character."

I hope he plays a "good guy" actually. He voiced the fallen in ROTF so it'd be too obvious for him to be evil in this one. Mind you they'll probably write something in that the fallen took over somebody's body right before prime killed him in ROTF and it's the fallen in hum... read more

He played a badass, albeit psycho, Marine in The Rock. At the risk of typecasting him, he could play a soldier who sympathizes with the Decepticons, perhaps thinking (perhaps having been fooled into it) that if he helps them they'll leave Earth alone. He doth kick ass, tho, always fun to wat... read more

I just hope he falls into characters like Sam, Lennox, and Epps. Otherwise he'll become one of 3 types; potty-mouthed wimp, pants dropping paranoid, or unfunny pottymouthed ditz.
