Gee, hard to say considering how mediocre 2012's fare has been... Masterpiece Optimus Prime (though the hunt for him was a massive load of butthurt). None of the others really stand out to me. :/ Most of my more exciting acquisitions have been of toys that came out before 2012, like _finally_ fi... read more

I have to agree, 95% of the Prime line up are just exceptional figures. And to think I hated Prime when it first came out. Wheeljack changed my mind and then I started collecting at that point. Unfortunately, 2013 is starting to be a let down.

I'm surprised at all the votes for Dreadwing. He was a bit of a turd to me IMO. 2012 was a bit of a letdown for me and I'm losing interest in the figures, so I don't think I could muster up a list for myself.

MP Optimus Prime FE Prime Optimus FOC Soundwave + Laserbeak MP Optimus Prime is just awesome. His poseability really impressed me. I wouldn't say he's better than MP1 Optimus, but he ranks right up there with him. FE Optimus Prime always looked great in the promo pics and I was afraid ... read more

Vehicon is most certainly on top for me. It's among the closest thing there is to perfection in a main line deluxe figure and one that the fandom can mostly agree on which happens.....never!!! FOC Shockwave is another very solid deluxe figure and nice representation. Prime voyager ... read more

RID Vehicon, that mold just kicks ass, and along with Just Vehicon has retool and custom potential (I'm listing them together since it's essentially the same mold) Masterpiece Optimus Prime, the new mold shows that you can do better than "perfection" Masterpiece Thundercracker, I... read more

What will happen to our toys when we die? This is a question that numerous collectors have asked themselves and each other throughout this age of adult collecting. Inevitably, as the original generation of Transformers children and collectors starts moving into their 40s and later, thoughts start turning to the twilight of our lives and what will become of the tonnes of plastic we have amassed. What will happen to our toys when we die?
Looks like TakaraTomy's own @TFYUKI is going to have a case of the MP Star Sabers with Unite Warriors Superion, as he's now posted another new image showing the Combiner Wars mold with the limbs arranged G1 style. In this configuration you kill most of the knee articulation, and the arms have been folded up into mostly-jets, but... G1, accuracy, or something. Yay? Keep reading to judge for yourself!
The Pez Candy USA Facebook page has posted images of the upcoming Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Megatron Pez Dispensers! Bumblebee is pretty clearly based off of the Classics headsculpt, but it's a bit more difficult to nail down the sources used for Prime and Megatron. But the good news is that in July 2015, your dreams of eating candy out of a robot's neck will come true. Keep reading to see the photo!
Vimeo has announced that they will be offering the original Transformers Cartoon for streaming! Invidual episodes will cost 0.99 USD to rent and $2.99 to own and view by streaming and/or download - but the much better option is to buy the whole series for $40. Keep reading for the trailer - a pretty high quality copy of the original G1 title sequence - and a link.
Our forums member chuckdawg1999 has brought us his video review of the much debated, very confusing Platinum Series set of Blitzwing and Astrotrain. In what's likely the first English review of the set, he speculates on the origins of the decos while giving the reissue molds a good run through. But, their value may not quite match their suggested price tag. Keep reading to see the video and chuckdawg's comments!
