Hasbro 2003 Transformers Armada Press Release

Hasbro Collectors Event

The Hasbro Collectors Event on March 12th showcased the latest of the three Transformers lines featuring more than 40 new products on the display. The main attraction was Transformers Armada with the recent announcement of Unicron character in the series. Hasbro Transformers product desiner, Aaron Archer has shared a look at a Transformers Megatron design that never was. The concept image is described as "A unrealized Megatron design from around 2002, 03. I think I wanted him to be a bomber/spaceship." Judging from the date, this was likely made for the Armada line. This is definitely very different look for the Decepticon leader with HUGE weapons for hands, WILD! Read on for the look at the unrealized Megatron design to see it all.
