Toy Fair 2009 - Decepticon USB Thumb Drive
bwbm - Tuesday, February 17, 2009

During our coverage of Toy Fair 2009, we received some swag, in the form of a USB thumb drive in the shape of a Decepticon logo.

In actuality, the Decepticon logo is rubberized and fits like a sleeve over the actual USB thumb drive.

Our buddies over at Toy News International also received a G.I. Joe-themed drive that resembles the look of a dog tag.

The Transformers-themed one is 1GB in size while the G.I. Joe version is 2GB in size.

Get the scoop on all the Transformers updates as they happen right here at The best resource for all your Transformers news and reviews every day.

Come on - 1GB giveaway is pretty sweet. Although three years ago I bought a 1GB for dirt cheap. I don't even think you can get one anymore.

8:27 pm first reaction is "cool, I want one!"...then I see it's only 1 GB & it appears to be a bit on the large cumbersome side...but it's still a cool faction symbol..."maybe"...

1GB? Wow, not much to work with there. Still cool looking. Now if someone could design jackets to slip over existing sticks...

Tonight we have some very good looks at the 10th anniversary lineup TakaraTomy is putting together for the Transformers movie series, heading to retail in early 2017. 2017 marks ten years since the release of the first Transformers movie, and to celebrate how old we all now feel from hearing that, site sponsor TFSource has posted preorders with "DO NOT COPY" catalog photos of TakaraTomy's 10th Anniversary series! Eleven movie figures will be reissues between February and March of next year, with the usual Takara level of extra paint expected. There are also articulated rider mini-figures of Optimus Prime and Bumblebee included with Grimlock and Strafe! Keep reading to see the full listings with each figure's original release.
Sideshow and Prime 1 Studio are proud to present the latest release in the Premium Bust Collection - Lockdown from Transformers: Age of Extinction. Like any bounty hunter, Lockdown will pay top dollar to get what he wants. Answering only to his enigmatic "Creators", Lockdown holds himself above the Autobot/Decepticon war and sees both sides as squabbling children that he has to rein in personally. He doesn't think much of other civilized species across the galaxy (particularly humans), though he isn't above working with them if it suits him.
