Hasbro described the packaging of the figure as "absolutely phenomenal." Just think about the way he looks in his T-Rex mode after the jump, and you'll get an idea, Hasbro tells us. Here at Toy Fair, Hasbro, Inc. and Activision Publishing were nice enough to team up and give us a preview of three stages from the publishing studio's upcoming video game Transformers: War for Cybertron. We were originally scheduled a hands-on preview, but Jason from Activision put a caveat out there that what was being shown today was not final at all. That being said, he also said that he really wanted to show us the game. Read more.

Live at Toy Fair, we have been given a very detailed look at how the Transformers: Power Core Combiners work and it will really throw you for a loop. Everything that you've enjoyed in the interchangeable weapons system has now been applied to the interchangeable limb system. Read more to find out!

We are live at Toy Fair and we have some awesome Transformers news for you in the name Transformers: Generations. This line fits sort of like the Universe - part 3 - but will only encompass deluxe figures. To learn about what's in store for us on this line, which includes IDW Publishing's Drift and War For Cybertron figures based off of the video game, jump through!

Just in! Oh yea you heard right, Hasbro will be releasing Weeble Wobble toys that will be coming later in the Spring. These little cute guys will be designed for the Generation 1 fans and a three pack including Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Megatron will be available for about eight dollars a set. Take a look at the cute little guys after the jump!

Live from Toy Fair in New York City, we have learned that the Hunt For Decepticons promotion will begin around August 1st, giving enough time for the N.E.S.T. Global Alliance promotion to wrap up. We were given a lot of new figures and details about what's in store for this promotion, as well as what's in store for the end of the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen line, be sure to jump in and check out all of the details!

More news just in from Hasbro is details about what's going on with Transformers toys now that we are between the second film, Revenge of the Fallen, and the third tentatively named Transformers 3 movie. Dropping the "Revenge of the Fallen" sub-line name, and continue under the the modest "Transformers" name with a few sub-lines under it as N.E.S.T., Power Core Combiners, Activators and some misc stuff like Battle Ops Bumblebee and the new role play products.

Just in from Toy Fair is news about the RPMs sub-line that Hasbro has renamed "Action Fleet" along with the announcement of two new products. The "Bumblebee Battle Track Set" and the "Stealth Force Optimus Prime Vehicle." Judging from the product summaries this is the RPMs 2.0 version that features Hot Wheels scale vehicle modes with the robot images imprinted on the underside. Read the details after the jump.

Hasbro has put out a press release to kick off Toy Fair 2010. The release details upcoming figures for this year including Power Core Combiners figures - available in Scout with Mini-Con, two-pack, and five-pack figures - Battle Ops Bumblebee, and more. Some highlights of the Power Core Combiners line is that they will "combine with one another, in dozens of variations, to create a wide variety of larger combiner robots." Seems like a reasonable compromise & would get my vote!

The Predacons were also bricks. They had very simple transformations and hardly any articulation. They were just solid bricks. That is a key difference. G1 transformers had very little articulation or moving parts compared to today's Transformers.

But you seem to be forgetting about the Predacons! Everything about Predaking negates what you just said...when it comes down to it, it's just a matter of what Hasbro/Takara want to do. The new Power Core Combiners will definitely sell better in the long run if small and cheaper, but I al... read more

Phones, TVs, Computers are getting smaller/thinner, but dammit, not toys!! I was really looking forward to those Team Combiners. If there is one thing I liked about combiners is that when you combine them all, they are actually bigger than the rest of the figures in that line.

Actually, it makes sense to make them that size. I was talking about this in the RotF Devastator thread. It isn't feasible to mass produce a really large combiner with the components also capable of fully transforming. It'd be too expensive to produce and/or too fragile to pass the safety st... read more

bummer. i was hoping the figures in the 5 pack were bigger. i was happy with the energon combiner sizes even though they were lacking in visual appeal. the 2 beast wars combiners were great. Magnaboss is one of my favorite combiners next to Predaking. hopefully when the pictures start coming in of a... read more

I would have been more impressed with the Power Core Combiners, if the 'main' combining Transformers were Voyagers and the rest were Deluxes. Whatever the faults of ROTF Supreme Devastator, at least he was BIG.

?? So the core of the Bruticus and Superion combiners in PCC are going to be scout class and the rest will be legends? That is going to be what, between voyager and leader class size when combined?

Keep reading to see the images!

If you couldn't make Botcon itself but still want some of the exclusives, head on over and take advantage of the leftovers while they last! Keep reading for a full list.
