Picked up a couple Laserbeak deluxes at work last night, before the sale was over, while I was filling the pegs. There's a sale going on, why aren't the pegs fully stocked when we have 10+ cases in back ??? And with only 1 Laserbeak & 1 Thundercracker (but 3 new BB's) per case...

Just went today and also hit target. Both are extremely picked over unless you want Prime, BB, or the twins. Not a single Megatron. Scored a Thundercracker though.

I think they are milking the next 5 months - and trying to ride things to CHRISTMAS.

Has that ever happened? I think it's more like, get some cheap during the hype and get your kids hooked enough to want to collect so Hasbro can milk the next few years til the next big TF thingo.

No launch event, no display, just a get this crap off of our shelves sale before the movie convinces your kids that they don't want them.

Would've been pointless for me anyways since the only ones I want were never stocked there. Well I guess you can make some money off this deal by returning something you bought somewhere else within the past month.

Too bad its just probably a way for them to clear room for the "Scan" series which will just warm the pegs like they are already doing at one of the TRU near me. I managed to grab a Thundercracker though, unfortunately Laserbeak was already gone.

What's funny is TRU is actually for once Cheaper than a Retailer....Target at $10.99 vs. $11.99 who would have guessed.....

The Marin Independent Journal is reporting today that production for Transformers Universe: Bumblebee has begun in the Peacock Gap area, in San Rafael, California. The movie caught attention recently by taking a sizeable incentive from the state of California to film the entire movie within its borders. This leg of production is reportedly codenamed Brighton Falls, though whether that will relate to the content of the movie, such as the location it takes place in, is unknown. A photo from just outside the closed filming was posted with the article. You can find that mirrored below.
The new release of 2007's Leader Class movie Optimus Prime under the Transformers Tribute subline is now available for purchase in the US via Amazon. Like the Orion/Optimus Evolution 2 pack before it, this is apparently an Amazon exclusive. But, unlike the very unexpectedly reasonable price point of the 2 pack, Leader Optimus is currently listed at $79.99. But of course that does mean it qualifies for free shipping whether or not you're an Amazon Prime member. Is the very first movie Optimus with a fancy updated deco worth that to you? If so, hit the link in the full post below, and keep reading for a set of new stock photos of the toy.

Hailee Steinfeld, the first confirmed cast member and lead character in the upcoming Transformers Universe: Bumblebee, has shared on social media a quick behind the scenes photo of herself in wardrobe. On the instagram post, the photo has the caption, "Meet Charlie Watson", revealing to us the name of her character. Bumblebee recently boasted the addition of John Cena in a starring role, on the same day it was made known the movie's debut had been pushed back to December of 2018 from its original June premiere. Confirming a job listing by Boulder Media earlier this week and long-ago reports of plans stemming from the fables TFCU Writers' Room, Hasbro announced in today's investor meeting that a CGI Transformers movie is in the works! Set in the current film continuity but with no firm release date, it is part of a larger commitment by Hasbro to release one animated movie a year. Keep reading for details!
They say truth is stranger than fiction, and when word comes down the pipe from Variety that the "Bumblebee" movie will be going head to head with "Aquaman" in the theaters, it is not hard to hear the echo from Big Bang Theory: "Aquaman Sucks!" Sure, good for a laugh. But there's a certain irony here that is more than Meets the Eye. Arguably, these franchise characters both share a sort of disdain from the fandom, followed by an intense puzzlement as to why they are being forced into the spotlight, regardless of the uproar from fans.
