Man, at first I didnt like it, but after looking at the pictures I do, and for just $20, its bought. I think its funny that they colored his head silver instead of his face.

Yippee! Thank you, Hasbro! I thought this was gonna be another Wal-Mart exclusive. Gosh I envy people that live near Wal-Mart as much as I envy Alex Convoy's transformer writing skills. But enough of that. I am buying this set. Hehehehe! So happy. I was dreamong about this team! I love the box: how all the team members come together.

I kinda like it. With them all yellow it kinda rox; but why not release it in green and purple as a decepticon.

Hey what's up with Hightower being packaged backwards? Who are those dumb people that Hasbro hires to package the Transformers toys or trasnform them for advertisement display? Are people this dumb?

Wasnt this supposed to be a Walmart exclusive?

Cool, I think I'll get this. I never got RiD Landfill, partly because I was too busy hunting down Bullet Trains at the time, and a few of the other 'bots that I liked better than these guys and took priority over them. But one large factor in that was that I just hated the look of Landfill. I think the original colors of the Build Team looked good individually, but in my opinion they just didn't mesh well at all in their combined form. This Landfill seems to look MUCH better with its unified color scheme though.

Just one question though; does anyone have an estimated release date for this set? Or even an educated guess?

Speaking of the bullet trains... someone tell Hasbro to realease a set of those, too. We didn't get any of them at all up here in Canada.

I was initially hesitant to buy this set after already dropping $40 on the original landfill, but for $20 I may surrender to impulse and buy three of the bloody things! I'll probably do some minor alterations to make the combined gestalt more closely resemble ol' G2 devie.
And I've got to wonder who it is that seems to be in charge of taking pictures of all these mistransformed figures? I don't have a whole lot of problems with hasbro, but that mistransformation nonsense just pisses in my vinegar.

The Ruination arctic repaint showed in Walmart some time ago o_O He's come and gone I'm afraid, but check back occasionally since Walmart just let loose a slew of Dinobots they'd apparently kept in storage for some time it's reasonably to assume there's a horde of Ruinations stashed in a warehouse as well. In the meantime check the transformers newsgroups and on eBay for the set.

In the Philippines the Autobot Bullet Train Team is gone off the SALE bin for on only PhP 380.00 pesos each, and the only fish on the bin is Skybyte going for PhP 380.00 pesos as well.

Not much new stuff here except the arrival of Hasbro's Spychangers Tiny Tins edition for PhP 220.00 pesos each last week.

It makes me wonder if these repaints of the Build Team will arrive here.

To entropicana: Actually, I'm in Canada, and did manage to track down a set of the Bullet Trains. But they came and went REALLY quickly. I saw them in stores throughout a timeframe of only about 2 or 3 weeks at the most, then never saw them again. And even then, there weren't all that many of them out on the shelves even during that short time. I was just lucky to pick up all three of the guys at a Walmart within that 2-3 week timeframe that they were actually available here.

One thing I haven't seen here though, just like combatron mentioned, is the Ruination arctic color set. I also wanted to get that, because Ruination is another one I passed on from RiD mainly because I just didn't like the color scheme. So I was planning to pick up that much nicer looking arctic set, but unfortunately couldn't find it, despite actively looking at Walmart for it during the time it was supposedly released. Which makes me worried that I might not be able to find this Landfill set either...

Hey all-
They look great in person. There may have been an error though because this set was for sale today at my Wal-Mart for aprox 15.00 in NC for after Thanksgiving sales. So we dont have to look for them only at Toys-R-Us.
