Toys R Us Japan Getting 6-Inch Titaniums

By News_Staff on Thursday, August 16, 2007 @ 10:25:04 AM

Forum Member Metrotitan let us know that according to the Toys R Us Japan website, they should be receiving some 6 inch Titanium goodness as early as Tuesday August 21! Offerings include: WWI Megatron, The Fallen, Starscream, Sunstorm, WWI and G1 Ultra Magnus...also looks like they are offering the WWI Prime/Magatron 2 pack a little later. They are listed as 2499 Yen ($21.50 U.S.) except for the two pack which is 5999 Yen. This is great news for collectors here as previously only a few hobby shops have been importing 6 inch Titanuims, at an average price of 5000 Yen! Check out the post and link at TFans.com.

The WWI Prime in the megs/Prime 2-pack is still as flobby-sloppy as before btw...and they DONT COME WITH THEIR BASES!

Still, Megs is good though.

It's a shame they didn't bother stocking U.S. shelves with these figures. Not sure who's fault it was...the stores, or Hasbro, but we sure got screwed! I checked regularly, and NEVER ONCE saw any of these.

No US availability + Japan releases = MORE SCALPING!

Way to go, Hasbro.

I'm surprised that some US collectors having difficulties getting titaniums, I have always thought that US had an advantage over Canadian market since its a bigger market. Here in Canada, we got all the 6'' Titanium, sometimes at low pace and low quantities, in Zellers and Wal-Marts stores and even Toys R Us but was able to get them all, my latest was G1 Ultra-Magnus in my local Wal-Mart this week.
Maybee Hasbro are inconsistant with their quantities and shipping they should resolve theses problems but I'm happy for Japanease for getting theses.

Target stores are now stocking 6-inch Titaniums. I found Cheetor and the Fallen there just yesterday, though they only had two of each.
