It looks like Philadelphia will be playing host to the "Transformers 2" filming crew in June, which is in the early part of the film's production timeline.

Sharon Pinkenson, executive director of the Greater Philadelphia Film Office, was a guest this morning on the 93.3 WMMR morning show "Preston and Steve," when she stated "Transformers 2" will begin filming in the city in June.

The official news of the filming came earlier this week.
