Thanks to forums meber Cyberscream for letting us know that
IESB has posted an update about Tranformers 2 footage showing at this years SDCC: "Moving on, TRANSFORMERS 2 and G.I. JOE will both be showing early footage to fans during Comic Con 2008."

While that will undoubtedly be the principal factor, there is a story-related reason - since unlike most previous TF-lore, in the movieverse human weapons can damage and kill Transformers, so there is a benefit to remaining unnoticed. |

Wouldnt we see animated figures at comic con? they still havent revealed supreme class omega supreme yet. could be a mixed bag i suppose Though a leader class Munky would be nice, we don't even know if he'll turn into an F-22 in this movie or ditch the earth mode alltogether. Probably. But still being a sequel there and not the opening to a saga of films it wouldn't have something like that. It may be something more like just small tiny bits of like 5 scenes put in one in a fast sequence. The G.I.Joe will be more like the Mars lander thing if you ask me. |
