"Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen" will feature a custom "hero" bike and a stunt bike, reports the Ventura County, California newspaper
Ventury County Star.
The news was revealed in an article spotlighting local Camarillo, CA bike shop RetroSBK.
The custom bike shop will build three "hero" bikes and three "stunt" bikes. Each of the bikes ran an estimated $40,000.
Images of the motorcycles were, obviously, unavailable.
Will Kenefick, the owner of the shop and primary builder of the motorcycles, estimates that he put in 1,273 hours on the bikes, while the painter racked up 1,036 hours.
Mr. Kenefick was also on-set during the Bethlehem shoot to make sure the bikes were handled properly and working correctly.
Could these bikes possibly serve as Arcee's alternate mode? There's a fair possibility since the
leaked call sheet calls for "three Arcee motorcyles."
It could very well mean that the three "hero" bikes are for her glamorous shots, and the three "stunt" bikes for everything else.
