It's official, Philadelphia will play host to the crew of "Transformers 2" sometime during the film's principal photography, which starts in June.

KYW reports that the Greater Philadelphia Film Office says many films, including the upcoming movie sequel to our favorite robots' live action film, are filming in the city due to tax breaks that began last summer.

The potential of Philly being a filming location was reported earlier this month and further confirmed when "Transformers 2" director Michael Bay was caught scouting the downtown section of the city.
