Longtime Transformers comic artist and box art illustrator Dan The Art Guy (Dan Khannha) has posted some of his original artworks of unreleased Energon leaders Megatron and Optimus Prime for sale on Ebay.

The images are box art for two never produced store exclusive figures from the Energon series including Megatron in black and glo-green (energon) colors and the leader class Optimus Prime figure in black and red colors rumored to be the "Santa Convoy" Optimus Prime that images have surfaced of in the past.

Megatron Details

Here's an old pic of some boxart I did for Hasbro on the Transformers Energon line back in 2004. It was for a store exclusive black and green redeco of leader Class Megatron which never was released. This and the Energon Leader class Prime were both box art pieces I was pretty fond of though, and I don't believe I've put them up online before.

Optimus Prime Details

Here's an old pic of some boxart I did for Hasbro on the Transformers Energon line back in 2004. It was for a store exclusive red and black redeco of leader Class Optimus Prime which never was released. This was my first shot drawing a piece of Optimus Prime boxart for Hasbro which was a really cool to work on. I don't believe I've put them up online before, so here's a look at some of the older art pieces I did five years back.
