Transformers: Seasons 3 and 4 Box Art Preview

By MISP Steve on Wednesday, December 23, 2009

Thanks to Shout! Factory who's sent out the cover art for the Transformers Generations 1 DVD cover to Season 3 and 4. Looks like more art work by Andrew Griffith. This one's got Rodimus holding up the Matrix to ward off the Decepticon warriors Scourge, Cyclonus and Galvatron as Unicron's head looms in the distance. Pretty spiffy.

Four DVDs cover 34 episodes from Transformers: Seasons 3 and 4 including:
  • The Five Faces of Darkness - Part 1
  • The Five Faces of Darkness - Part 2
  • The Five Faces of Darkness - Part 3
  • The Five Faces of Darkness - Part 4
  • The Five Faces of Darkness - Part 5
  • The Killing Jar
  • Chaos
  • Dark Awakening
  • Starscreams Ghost
  • Thief in the Night
  • Forever is a Long Time Coming
  • Surprise Party
  • Madmans Paradise
  • Carnage in C-Minor
  • Fight or Flee
  • Webworld
  • Ghost in the Machine
  • The Dweller in the Depths
  • Nightmare Planet
  • The Ultimate Weapon
  • The Quintesson Journal
  • The Big Broadcast of 2006
  • Only Human
  • Grimlocks New Brain
  • Money is Everything
  • Call of the Primitives
  • The Burden Hardest to Bear
  • The Face of the Nijika
  • The Return of Optimus Prime - Part 1
  • The Return of Optimus Prime - Part 2
  • Rebirth - Part 1
  • Rebirth - Part 2
  • Rebirth - Part 3
  • Rebirth - Part 4
This set will be out April 20, 2010 for an MSRP of $29.95. Here's the details on the release:
  • Director: John Walker
  • Format: NTSC
  • Region: Region 1
  • Number of discs: 4
  • Studio: Shout! Factory
  • DVD Release Date: April 20, 2010
  • Run Time: 660 minutes

Man this is good news for everyone who doesn't already have the series if they knock off the vol1/2 crap. Concerning any show, I just plain hate that!!! I do have the Rhino sets so I haven't bought any of these. The Matrix set looks nice, but is expensive. The individual seasons... read more
