Video Review: Henkei! D-03 Deluxe Astrotrain

Sean Long of Transformers Matrix has provided us with a video review of Transformation! Henkei! Transformers D-03 deluxe class Astrotrain.

Along with all of the usual stuff, the review also covers the differences between the classics deluxe Astrotrain and G1 Astrotrain.

I'm sorry. But, I just don't see how it looks anything like the American G1 toy. maybe the Anime or the E-hobby one though.

He's probably called something like Suzuki Kawazaki.

It says, by the characters, "a-su-to-ro-to-re-i-n" which is the closest phonetic approximation of Astrotrain possible in Japanese.

My next question...is he actually called Astrotrain in Japan or does he go by a different name? *Edit*...just can't type some days

Indeed, in Japan autobots are named cybertrons, and decepticons are destrons. The name of the character is actually written in the lower part of the package, in japanese. I believe "Destron" is what they call the Decepticons in Japan. Good review. I deffinately need to get this one.
