Video Review Kre-O Constructicon Devastator Transformers Micro Changers Combiners

By BaCon on Monday, January 21, 2013

Thanks to YouTube member ProtoRetro, AKA Protoman, who's posted a video review for the Kre-O Transformers Micro Changers Combiners Constructicon Devastator action figures set. This set includes 76 character parts and accessory piece to build your own gestalt . The figures are slated to begin shipping this month for $9.99 USD from bigbadtoystore.com.

Numbering 76 pieces, the KRE-O Kreon Micro-Changer Combiner Series 01 - Constructicon Devastator forms miniature robot/vehicle mode versions of Bonecrusher, Scavenger, Scrapper and Mixmaster, and can be combined to create Super Warrior Constructicon Devastator.

A monstrous presence on any battlefield, Devastator is a manifestation of unreasoning brute strength which thoroughly engulfs and jumbles the individual minds and personalities of the six Constructicons. Devastator’s height and strength enable him to destroy a bridge with a single swipe. Only marginally aware of his surroundings, Devastator is deployed for the singular purpose of pulverizing anything in his path.

More KRE-O News
YouTuber chuckdawg1999 has posted his video review of Battle Changers Optimus Prime! Chuck reports that Prime is fun, but some parts may pop off in transformation- which is certainly what happened when Grimlock kept transforming poor Bumblebee in the spot we posted earlier. Keep reading to watch!
"ROBOT! CAR! ROBOT! CAR! ROBOT!" Hasbro has posted a new 15-second TV spot to their YouTube channel showing off Kre-O Battle Changers! In the spot, Grimlock is extremely excited about the idea of fully-transforming brick Transformers - which, let's be honest, is what Kre-O should've been from the outset. Keep reading to see the ad!
Japanese retailer Red Mercury has added a number of product pages for imported Hasbro products. Besides wave 1 Combiner Wars and RID figures, they've offered up some surprise Kre-O listings. Besides the transforming Battlechangers seen in promo materials in 2014, we've got package pictures of Custom Kreons and construction sets based on the new RID series designs. With dwindling retailer support it's unclear how available these will be in North America, unfortunately. But Kre-O seems to keep pushing on, so there may still be a chance! Thanks to Hobbybase who have posted an image of the 2015 Transformers KREO figures that we saw last October at the New York Comic Con. Get a look at what should be hitting stores soon including the Customs Steel Jaw, Grimlock, Bumblebee and Optimus Prime along with Sideswipe Roadway Rundown, Strongarm Capture Cruiser, Bumblebee Disc Demolisher, Optimus Prime and Underbite Jetpack Takedown.
The official Transformers Facebook page has updated with official looks at the first wave of Kreon Warriors. This assortment features Optimus, Bumblebee, Megatron, Starscream and Shockwave in various "costumes", themed as ninjas, gladiators, soldiers, pirates and more. Each figure has deco elements implying vehicle attributes with some connection to their setting, like military Shockwave having main battle tank details or "Wiseguy Bumblebee" looking vaguely like a 40's gangster car. Click through to check out the images of the whole opening lineup!
