Hey, thanks! I didn't change the cape in any way... if you look at the side and top views, all I did was put the cape on so it hung directly from the shoulder pads, in front of the large wings. Then, I tucked the inner seam of the cape into the areas on SS's body where the main wings ... read more

I haven't seen any fraying yet on the cape... but I will watch out for that. Here are some better shots of how I put the cape on my MP SS: (link)

Kind of off-topic, but is the cape on anyone else's SS fraying terribly?

(link) The way Pascal did it is more right that the way I did, the way I did is to hide the parts on the back but there is more than one way to have the cape draped over him. YOU ROCK PASCAL! He's a great guy and knows his Transformers!

Yeah, that looks a lot better. That's also how it looks in the promotional art. That's NOT how it looks in the video. The one in the video is completely draped over the nosecone assembly and makes him look like a hunchback. Also, those energon cubes and that Allspark are not made by the ... read more

There is another way... If you hang the cape from the shoulder pads, you can sort of edge the back of the cape under the rear wings to make it look a lot more smooth: (link) (sorry for the crummy cell phone pic) Oh yeah... the cape needed a quick ironing on low heat. That removed the wrinkl... read more

Imaginarium recently shared a shot of the upper body of their upcoming Devastator statue, showing off the general styling and detail level. Tonight they've continued downward, revealing the lower half of the body with a look at the legs and a considerable chunk of the base environment the statue stands on. Sadly these are not separate cuts of the same image in order to piece them back together - or I would have - but you can still get a good sense of the overall product between them. Click through for the mirrored image!
Three A, makers of high end - and high price - action figures including a range of licensed Transformers figures has revealed a new entry tonight, exclusive to ThinkGeek. Ultra Magnus is a redeco of the Optimus Prime figure, naturally in the unarmored cab-robot form. Its features are more or less the same as the Optimus figure it's derived from, including basic accessory loadout. ThinkGeek's price is just about $400 and they're accepting orders for the new Ultra Magnus right now. Click through to see the promo photos and a link to the product page.
Pop Culture Shock Collectibles is pleased to announce we have now secured a licensing agreement with Hasbro Inc. We are excited about the opportunity to team with Hasbro in creating collectibles based on characters from properties like TRANSFORMERS, DUNGEONS & DRAGONS, MAGIC: THE GATHERING, G.I. Kidrobot has teamed up with toy giant Hasbro for a an all-new collection of Transformers vs. G.I. Joe toys, art figures and collectibles based off the John Barber & Tom Scioli critically acclaimed comic book that has gained an international cult-following! There can be only one to rule them all and in the case of the Decepticons it’s Megatron. The God-Emperor of the evil doers of the Transformers is ready to take his rightful place on your shelf. In conjunction with Hasbro, Kidrobot brings you the next piece to the Transformers Vs GI Joe capsule with the Megatron Art Figure.
There has long been speculation about if, when and how Hasbro and Mattel would join forces to make the ultimate toy and game company. According to The Wall Street Journal, Hasbro is said to be on the prowl (pun) again, after substantiated news just last year, about the two companies being in talks. At this point there is nothing substantial to report. Yet, this time feels better with Hasbro's recent move to a media company. When more content is what they need. Barbie, Hot Wheels and so many brands under the Mattel brand are great choices.
