Wonderfest Model Kits Now available at BBTS

By sertile on Sunday, November 02, 2008

BBTS recently listed the Revoltech-style Wonderfest exclusive Transormers model kits we saw a while back, which many suspected to be customs. They're garage kits which will have to be painted and assembled by hand, but are Revoltech scale and include revolver joints. Figures include Ultra Magnus, Shockwave, Soundwave, Quintesson Judge, and a Sharkticon. You can check them out and order them (along with an exclusive Grimlock/Wheelie bust) HERE

I'm sure they have a website somewhere where you could leave them feedback, but it's a waste of time.

I don't see why Revoltech can't release that Ultra Magnus as part of their line, for the normal price of a Revoltech. It just looks so authentic. Even if I did buy that Model Kit for $179, it would never come out painted looking that good! Is there a way to contact the makers of ... read more

I know I would!!(But, ahhh...we've all been burnt on the ol' exclusive game! Let's hope these get mass produced, guyz & gurlz!) What I'd like to know, is what paints they... read more

BBTS is only able to offer a "deal" if they can get them at a major wholesale discount, most likely they have to pay full retail, factor in overseas shipping, etc. and there you go...

BBTS apparently got a 3rd restock so I'd hit them up soon. You could also try TFsource I haven't checked recently but they had the set still listed as pre-order last time I checked. I would get the Quint except I have no painting skills what so ever. Nor do I have $170 laying around...... read more

Think of the Markup as a tip. They put em all together and at the end of the year it pays for the champagne at the Shareholders meeting.

I'm pretty sure the guys were selling them at the show for 7000 yen, which is like $70. I can kinda see how someone would charge a lot for something they made/cast themselves -- like the Hearts of Steel Prime or ARC from cyberfembot.com. It's a crapload of time and money invested in ... read more
