X2 Toys Transformers Prime Soundwave Red Power-Bat and Power-Beak Images

By Jack on Saturday, November 17, 2012

Thanks to Meteor Operation who have posted a bevy of new images fro the X2 Toys Transformers Prime Soundwave Red Power-Bat and Power-Beak third party figures. These are the the mass market figures in red plastic that are a different release from the chrome / silver convention exclusives we saw previously. Get lots of good looks at Power-Bat and Power-Beak that are much more colorful and IMO look better than the chrome version. These guys come with some special resting pods that act as feet for the Power-Bots to stand on their own.

We are dedicated to being to be the best resource for all your Transformers news and reviews every day. Keep your browser dialed to Tformers.com for updates as they happen.

Planet X has posted images of City Guardian, a Omega Sentinel-themed version of their Omega Supreme toy, Genesis! The image is captioned that they are "testing it for fun," suggesting that they might be trying to gauge interest in a release of the figure. Keep reading for the images and a link back to their Facebook page so you can let them know what you think!
A poster at 78dm.net has turned up with a huge pile of photos of the new SXS figure Overclocking, based heavily on G1 Blurr. The Masterpiece-ish size figure tries to capture the look of Blurr's original hovercar mode, and improving it for more modern design concepts, and ends up looking pretty nice, even if it's too big to fit in with a Classics collection and may not be at the top of everyone's Masterpiece wishlist. BBTS have just let us know they have posted new images and orders for the PE-DX05 Leonidas Ultimate Lio Convoy homage figure. The Perfect Effect Leonidas figure stands about 9" (23cm) tall in robot mode and contains die-cast parts. This fierce transforming beast changes from a robot warrior into a lion and boasts over 60 points of articulation. The figure will be shipping June 2015 for a price of $149.99 USD.
This afternoon on their Facebook page, DX9 revealed a photos of the Generations G1 Leader Megatron wearing an array of new parts. Their AL-01 kit brings a cap for the barrel of the arm cannon to cover the missile launcher and give it a bigger fusion cannon-style end, new hands, a shoulder gun barrel, extra parts to thicken the legs, and new shoes that are shown to permit a range of ankle movement and adds just over half an inch to the height. No price or release date yet. Click through to see the picture!
Here's my review of these pretty disappointing 3rd party figures by Ark Studio! I incorrectly thought they were MP sized, but these are small, and the quality isnt even up to par with the Combiner Wars Legends figures!
