Xovergen TrailerForce TF-01 - New Looks at Ultimate Powermaster Optimus Prime Redux
Jack Q - Tuesday, March 13, 2012

Oh yea, now things are getting interesting. Thanks to the amazing toys designers over at Xovergen, we have some first looks at their upcoming TrailerForce TF-01.

This is an accessory upgrade kit for the Classics Voyager Optimus Prime action figure that makes for an ultimate redux of the much loved, but brickish, Power Master Optimus Prime from the G1 series.

The images show the resin protype that is coming together quite brilliantly with and trailer loaded down with weaponry and a nifty Powermaster figure that hangs on the grill. Check out the image after the jump for more details.

I think the ultra sized optimus toy that comes with the ultimate optimus toy,is the best part about the toy. I'm n... read more

PMOP is my most favorite, my most prized (not expensive) transformer. I love that toy, brick and all. When I had the opportunity to finally get the Takara reissue cheap from HLJ, I was in transformers collection heaven. That being said, as much as I like PMOP and think this 3rd party figure is cool... read more

This looks awesome, and since it fits both Classics Prime and PMOP/Ginrai, I'll have to see if I can find the budget for it. Still, I wish Takara would forgo just one Convoy release to make a Ginrai instead. Or Hasbro a PMOP redux. C'mon, I want to give my money rather than the 3rd parties... read more

Man, if that thing fits Classics/Henkei OP AND it's priced around $80 bucks I'll be snatching one up. That thing looks alot better then the brick the original PMOP was.

Isn't it about time Hasbro came out with a decent updated Powermaster Optimus Prime?

FansProject has released two new transforming dinosaurs in there lost realm line. Echara and Comera are a pair of lady dinos that transform into a Velociraptor and Spinosaurus. Over on Weibo, FansHobby has posted a few new photos showing MB-06, their MP-scaled Powermaster Optimus Prime figure. On display is the non-super robot mode made just from the truck cab. Only a few angles are shown, but it starts to show what to expect the eventual finished product to look like. It's seen alongside their unofficial Black Convoy/RID Scourge ...as well as an iPhone for an attempt at objective scale. Also shown is the Powermaster component itself, whether you prefer it as Hi-Q or Ginrai. We've mirrored the photos, keep reading and take a look!
From Weibo user bandaimaru, we've got a few shots of a prototype of Toyworld's unofficial Cosmos figure. What we expect to be Masterpiece scale (which in Autobot Mini-Vehicle terms means probably Deluxe-ish) is seen in full color, making the project at its current stage look quite good, for those to whom the design and proportions of G1 Cosmos hold a special place. The figure doesn't seem to have its own codename yet, and likewise it's maybe a bit too early for release info. But you can sure enjoy looking for now! Check it all out in the gallery below.
Maketoys has posted a new update on Facebook for the next in their RE:Master line of Masterpiece scale figures. We've got new color images of Contact Shot, their take on Targetmaster Pointblank. Various angles and poses of the robot are shown, plus an overview of the vehicle mode including opening canopy with driver compartment. And we get to see a closeup of the Targetmaster figure, plus alternate face and helmet options for the figure. We've got all of it mirrored, so click through to have a look!
Just announced are the MM-X Toro & MM-XI Coprimozzo Set featuring Unofficial Hubcap and Cliffjumper figures from from XTransbots. Toro and Coprimozzo are a pair of transforming street cars that are fashioned on a different, more sporty model, than the old VW Bug. Each of these figures stand about 4.50 inches tall in robot mode and feature die-cast parts and real rubber tires. Read on for more details below.
