Xovergen TrailerForce TF-01 - New Looks at Ultimate Powermaster Optimus Prime Redux

By Jack Q on Tuesday, March 13, 2012

Oh yea, now things are getting interesting. Thanks to the amazing toys designers over at Xovergen, we have some first looks at their upcoming TrailerForce TF-01.

This is an accessory upgrade kit for the Classics Voyager Optimus Prime action figure that makes for an ultimate redux of the much loved, but brickish, Power Master Optimus Prime from the G1 series.

The images show the resin protype that is coming together quite brilliantly with and trailer loaded down with weaponry and a nifty Powermaster figure that hangs on the grill. Check out the image after the jump for more details.

I think the ultra sized optimus toy that comes with the ultimate optimus toy,is the best part about the toy. I'm n... read more

PMOP is my most favorite, my most prized (not expensive) transformer. I love that toy, brick and all. When I had the opportunity to finally get the Takara reissue cheap from HLJ, I was in transformers collection heaven. That being said, as much as I like PMOP and think this 3rd party figure is cool... read more

This looks awesome, and since it fits both Classics Prime and PMOP/Ginrai, I'll have to see if I can find the budget for it. Still, I wish Takara would forgo just one Convoy release to make a Ginrai instead. Or Hasbro a PMOP redux. C'mon, I want to give my money rather than the 3rd parties... read more

Man, if that thing fits Classics/Henkei OP AND it's priced around $80 bucks I'll be snatching one up. That thing looks alot better then the brick the original PMOP was.

Isn't it about time Hasbro came out with a decent updated Powermaster Optimus Prime?

Site sponsor TFSource has just posted preorders for three sets of addons for MP-10 Masterpiece Optimus. These sets by Shadow Fisher offer LED lighting options for the eyes and Matrix chamber, new upper arm pieces to tweak the proportions as well as equipping an energon axe, and finally offering an option for metal smokestack replacements available either alone, or with the arms and axe. We've got the images for all of these, so click through and check it out, then head over to TFSource.
The official BadCube page has been updated with testshot images of their soon to be released OTS-05 Claymore, OTS-06 Hypno, and OTS-07 Kickbutt figures. Their homages to the G1 Inscecticons are looking nice in cartoon colors. There is mention in their post of this being the "First Color Scheme," which likely means they are going to offer some variant editions as well. Read on to see the figures for more details.
Fanstoys continues their series of transforming robot dinosaur figures with their FT-07 STOMP figure. This is N. 4 in their Iron Dibots line, following Scoria, Soar, and Sever. Here, we get some first looks at the gray prototype images of homage to the G1 Sludge sludge character shown in robot and alternate Dino modes. Its looking quite good with that nice detailing on the alternate mode. Read on to see the images for more info.
Fans have sought out a way to get this for years, and it seems it will finally be within reach. A figure modeled after the Signal Lancer character from Transformers Cybertron will be produced by Nonnef, based on a design by TreadshotA1. Signal Lancer was notable by having the alt mode of a traffic light, a novelty that drove a desire for a toy, which never officially happened. Alert Knight will join Nonnef's lineup of products later this year. Click through to see the computer render image!
Retro Robot Radio recently got a chance to review the painted prototype of the Play With This Too Desolataur action figure. You can see it live here.
