Following the long slow run up to Transformers 5 and the Cinematic Universe. We have some new insights from Daredevil writer Steven Dekinght. He's been part of the writers room sessions and gives us his take how things are unfolding. Paramount are "pulling all the stops" including a visit from Steven Spielberg himself. While no word on what the new Transformers 5 movie being worked on now by Akiva Goldsman and Jeff Pinkner, we do get a sense the new blood may actually produce a movie a story in it. Thanks once again to Allspark for providing high quality scans of this month's Figure King magazine. In it we get a good look at TakaraTomy's Constructicons, including a look at the hand weapons and a better idea of the individual deco choices, plus some Transformers Adventure including Override and Runabout, some QTF, and a full page look at ThreeA's movie Optimus Prime figure. If you like busts and statues, then you're in business! Prime 1 Studios had pieces on display from Age of Extinction at Wonderfest this weekend. Busts of Optimus Prime and Galvatron, replicating the heads and upper bodies of the characters in painstaking detail, plus a full statue of Lockdown with one of his "hunting dogs". It's probably the best merchandise representation of Lockdown that will ever exist, and the price tag is sure to reflect that! Click through to check them out.



Following the earlier report of the Platinum Edition Dinobots. We have word and images by way of the ACG Hong Kong show that show the Transformers Age of Extinction Platinum Edition Dinobots will indeed have new head sculpts. The images confirm there will be mold made to give these figures even better G1 likenesses. Check out the images below for the full details now.

The Transformers Live Action Move Blog has posted a rumor sourced from noted Hollywood insider site Christian Today... which got it from Design & Trend... which got it from some podcast who got it from some random Facebook page ...that Ultra Magnus and the Quintessons will appear in Transformers 5. We're skeptical, for reasons we'll go into in the article - but this is notable because it means the TF5 hype train is underway. Keep reading for more details on this game of Internet Telephone!



From Weibo by way of Autobase Aichi, we have our first look at the Platinum Edition Dinobots boxset! ...which, as it turns out, is not an assortment of G1 Dinobot reissues. Instead, it's a reissue of the SDCC 2014 Dinobots, those being Age of Extinction Voyager Grimlock plus Deluxe Snarl, Strafe, and Slug, all in G1 colors. One nice thing though: you may not get the pop-up Teletraan-1 backdrop, but you do get Voyager-class Slog, who was previously a separate Amazon exclusive! Keep reading to see the packaged figures.

SDCC 2015 rages on and on and... Just in for you movie fans are the Transformers Comicave Optimus Prime Bumblebee statues from Play Imaginative that were on display at the the convention. Check out these officially licensed highly detailed sculptures featuring the Transformers Age of Exctinction Options Prime and Bumblebee characters in 1/22 scale. Sega has released a special version of their Transformers Human Alliance arcade game that has surfaced in the Tokyo Joypolis arcade! Titled Transformers: Human Alliance Special, the new version features a gyroscopic cockpit that can turn the player in any direction. Not a game we'd recommend playing on a full stomach, but a pretty interesting concept. Keep reading for video and details!


After taking China's movie boxoffice by storm this summer. It should be no surprise that Universal have announced they will be opening a new theme park in Beijing, as reported by the Seattle Times. The explosive success of Transformers: Age of Extinction all but ensures a place in the new Theme Park that is said to cost $3.3-billion for the 300-acre entertainment facility.


An official site for the Transformers Human Alliance Game has been launched by Sega Japan with what appears to be a game based on the characters from the first three Transformers movies. The trailer shows a Shia-like character by the name of Sam along with renderings of the Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Starscream and other characters like Shockwave lurking on the site page, in their pre-Age of Extinction forms. Interviews


Thanks to our old friend Sean Long, who's posted a video from the SacAnime 2015 festival held in , Sacramento, CA last weekend. Perter Cullen, the voice of Optimus Prime made an appearance. It is way too early to know for sure, but he did say that Transformers 5 and 6 may be going back to the roots when asked about the concern about the darkness of the series so far. Read on for more on Transformers 5 is to released June 24, 2016.


The Japan Times has published an article about Age of Extinction, its Japanese connections, and the samurai-inspired changes to the character designs. Bay also reveals that despite vowing that Dark of the Moon was his last Transformers film he was "prevailed upon, expertly" by a group or person he does not name to direct TF4.
