Autobase Aichi has posted images of Takara's upcoming LA13, Battle Attack Nemesis Prime. This simple figure from the kid-oriented end of the Lost Age line is in the traditional black, red and teal Nemesis Prime/Scourge color scheme- which as it turns out looks pretty nice with Movie Optimus' flame pattern on the hood of the truck. Thanks to Felipe León Nájera of Transformers Colombia, we now have official photos for the upcoming Amazon-exclusive version of Slog, this time in G1 colors! While the G1 colors aren't a huge difference from the retail edition of the toy, they do add a splash of gold- and perhaps more importantly they supplement your SDCC G1 Dinobots set, which Slog was not a part of. Rovio has published a pair of new videos to support the upcoming Angry Birds Transformers. One is a nifty little retro-style animated video done more or less in the style of the original G1 animated opening. CBMTrailers has posted a featurette from the upcoming Age of Extinction DVD/Blu-Ray release. HOLLYWOOD, CALIF. (August 26, 2014) -- From director Michael Bay and executive producer Steven Spielberg and in association with Hasbro, Inc., Paramount Pictures' $1 billion worldwide blockbuster Transformers: Age of Extinction makes its highly-anticipated debut September 30, 2014 on Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D, DVD and VOD. The film will be available to own two weeks earlier on Digital HD September 16, 2014.

This one is loaded with the Rusty Evolution Optimus Prime, Vehicon and Rollbar figures. Following the smashing success of "Transformers: Age of Extinction," Hasbro Studios is expanding to promote their pop culture properties. Bringing in Josh Feldman, formerly of Genre Films. He is reporting to the entertainment division where he will be focused on developing the many properties Hasbro has into TV and Movies projects that are said to feature "live-action and animation" as well as brand development and licensing. Transformers Colombia - which is now sadly a private Facebook group - has worked their magic again and provided us with fourteen pieces of official character art for Transformers Angry Birds. While we don't have specific Angry-Birdified names for these versions of Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Soundwave, Megatron, and a couple others, check out fourteen official images of the Autobirds and Deceptihogs below!


An official site for the Transformers Human Alliance Game has been launched by Sega Japan with what appears to be a game based on the characters from the first three Transformers movies. The trailer shows a Shia-like character by the name of Sam along with renderings of the Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Starscream and other characters like Shockwave lurking on the site page, in their pre-Age of Extinction forms. The Age of Extinction mobile game is now available for free on iTunes! Described as a "Combat Runner," the game presumably entails running forward and avoiding obstacles while also shooting things. Check out the full article for the iTunes description and a link to the game!

The Japan Times has published an article about Age of Extinction, its Japanese connections, and the samurai-inspired changes to the character designs. Bay also reveals that despite vowing that Dark of the Moon was his last Transformers film he was "prevailed upon, expertly" by a group or person he does not name to direct TF4. Will the same be true of TF5? We'll see. Keep reading for a link and selected quotes!


The Huffington Post have posted an interview with three time Transformers movie writer Ehren Kruger who penned the latest "Transformers: Are of Extinction" movie that swept box offices last weekend. In the article the writer shares a number of insights about how the so-called new trilogy was decided on as well as many of the aspects be brings to the table. We learn about director Michael Bay's idea to make this new forray a "Father-Daughter" story as well as the origins of Lockdown and the one character Bay will never do (which means he will, at some point).
