What do a giant robot from outer space (who disguises himself as a bright yellow Camaro on occasion) and a medieval Saracen who fights alongside Robin Hood’s merry men have in common? A good question – and the answer is Mark Ryan. Read More

There is an interesting article over at CGSociety featuring Industrial Light & Magic's Art Director Alex Jaeger. Mr. Jaeger worked on "Transformers" and the article documents his career as well as his work on the movie. Personal sketches and early designs of Bumblebee appear with the article. Another nice piece of statistic is on the second page of the article where the amount of pieces per robot featured in the movie is listed.

The original Optimus Prime, Peter Cullen, has started the promotional circuit for "Transformers" with some interviews with Latino Review and Superhero Hype!. The interviews span mainly Mr. Cullen's love for the big truck as well as his feelings towards the "Transformers" movie itself. A previous Q&A session with Mr. Cullen may also be viewed here.

"Transformers" Director Michael Bay has answered some some questions and concerns of the fandom in a short three minute interview over at Yahoo! Movies. Mr. Bay reveals that he really did listen to the fandom when the designs of the robots were leaked onto the internet. He also says the reason Optimus Prime has flames is because he wanted flames on him. And finally, he pretty much no longer remembers the official names of the robots due to the fact that they used the also known as (a.k.a.) names while filming the movie on the set. Take a look at the interview.

The Lunchables website promoting the "Transformers" movie has an interview with Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) on the website. The interview covers the renderings of the robots in the movie. Click on the "Bringing Transformers To Life" section to find the interview.
