Comicave Studios have released their newest images for their Omni Class 1/22 Optimus Prime Transformers Age of Extinction movie figure. The 15 inch high non-transforming figure is fully articulated. Made of 50% die-cast build with metal shield & a sword weapons and light-up eyes. The figure on pre-order now is scheduled for release August 2016 at a current price of $400 USD. The Scorpion figure is a total of 8” long with the tail completely extended. Scorpion is a highly detailed collectible composed of many tiny parts and features articulated arms and tail. The video series Super Power Beat Down has pitted Optimus Prime (the movie version to be specific) against the most technologically advanced superhero on Earth: Iron Man! This unofficial video plays out a battle between the two titans, but leaves the end result up to the voting public. Who is the winner? We reported on this back in 2014, but it appears with the roll out of Transformers 5 on the way. Paramount is just now in court fighting a $27 Million lawsuit. The suit claims that the Chinese company Wulong Karst Tourism, paid $750,000 to be placed in the film, but they never appeared in the movie that was shown in Cinemas. Could this be a setback for the Transformers 5 movie's product and licensing opportunities?



Seems like it is way too early to be talking about Transformers 6. But just in via Diplo, the American DJ, music producer, rapper and songwriter, who has updated his Instagram account. We have word and an image of him and Michael Bay. What is possibly a joke, typo or both, does mention them meeting in Miami, Florida to talk about Transformers 6, Yes 6, not 5. International Business Times reports that Robert Kirkman, creator of popular zombie-encrusted soap opera The Walking Dead, has opened up on the reasons why he was only in the Transformers Cinematic Universe's Writers' Room for a single day. It's related to the health issues that kept him out of last year's San Diego Comic-Con for the first time in 10 years. User Red Goblin on TFW has shared a few images reportedly originating with Industrial Light and Magic, showing some new concept pieces from the live action Transformers movies. There's various shots of landscapes clearly used in the development of Cybertron itself, plus ship and character designs from Age of Extinction specifically - including an orange-armored Drift, giving a good idea where the analogous character in Robots in Disguise got his coloring from. The Hollywood Reporter has an article out today talking about the immediate future of the Transformers movie series. As was revealed just before Toy Fair, we're locked in for a schedule of three consecutive years of Transformers movies, the mid point of which is a Bumblebee focused film. Paramount's Brad Grey is quoted as saying that Bumblebee is among the Transformers universe characters deserving of their own movies. The Winter Wonderfest 2016 is over, but it certainly didn't go without some good stuff to show. In the time since we reported last night, more photos have been posted from the event showing more detail on Masterpiece Optimus Primal, such as the furry appearance derived entirely through paint apps. The Hollywood Reporter has reported that a live-action Transformers event called Transformers Live will open in China in 2017. The event is said to "be a cross between an action-adventure spectacle, a theme park attraction and a theatrical show," and is expected to feature custom robotics among other features. Vending Times has reported on the third iteration of Sega's Transformers: Human Alliance arcade cabinet. An arcade-style lightgun shooter, this new "Super Deluxe" version of the cabinet sports an 80-inch screen and mounted lightguns with recoil action. Said to be "about the size of a kid's bedroom," it should be pretty easy to tell if the version you see is the Super Deluxe. Keep reading for more details and a link!


Sega has released a special version of their Transformers Human Alliance arcade game that has surfaced in the Tokyo Joypolis arcade! Titled Transformers: Human Alliance Special, the new version features a gyroscopic cockpit that can turn the player in any direction. After taking China's movie boxoffice by storm this summer. It should be no surprise that Universal have announced they will be opening a new theme park in Beijing, as reported by the Seattle Times. The explosive success of Transformers: Age of Extinction all but ensures a place in the new Theme Park that is said to cost $3.3-billion for the 300-acre entertainment facility.

Thanks to EDFHOBBIES who offers a first look at the 2016 Chevy Camaro 6th generation car release. While this one has been customized somewhat, it cannot be denied that Chevy is continuing to how love for Transformers Bumblebee namesake. According to the post, the black stripes and Autobot symbols ,and other custom touches were added after delivery. So we don't know if this is an official Transformers model, but it is still a Bumblebee to the owner and many fans.


Prime 1 Studios continues its series of extravagantly detailed - and plain old extravagant - statues of the Movie Transformers! Limited to a run of 1500, with 500 including an exclusive severed Brawl head, Ironhide sports LEDs in his head and his cannons, and will set you back $1600 USD. The Japan Times has published an article about Age of Extinction, its Japanese connections, and the samurai-inspired changes to the character designs. Bay also reveals that despite vowing that Dark of the Moon was his last Transformers film he was "prevailed upon, expertly" by a group or person he does not name to direct TF4.
