Trypticon Revealed! All Three Modes Shown In Render Mode, Plus Full-Tilt And Titan Master Necro
RAC - Friday, February 17, 2017

IGN has posted images in both prototype and render form of Titans Return Trypticon in all three modes! On top of which, we have now learned that the the version of Full-Tilt on the mold is indeed a removable, fully-functional Titans Return Deluxe, complete with a Titan Master named Necro! Keep reading for more details and mirrors of the images!
Trypticon's Titan Master functionality is entertaining, building on what Sharkticon Gnaw only hinted at: he eats them! Swallowed Titan Masters can be extracted from a compartment in Trypticon's stomach cavity.

Also worth noting: Necro's name is shown on the design work included in the images as Wipe-Out; a Tailgate-inspired Marvel Comics character.

Trypticon is scheduled for release in the Fall at an SRP of $149.99

Today RAC rounds out the basic forms of toy articulation with a look at ball joints! (Pun entirely intended, and offered with no apologies.) Ball joints were, in the 1990s, the salvation of the Transformers brand to a certain degree, as they allowed more complex and articulated Transformers figures to be made while passing US toy safety tests. But beyond that, they're just a really great and versatile part of modern toy design. Keep reading to find out why!
Site Sponsor BigBadToyStore has just tweeted that Unite Warriors Baldigus is now in stock! The most recent and possibly final entry in the Unite Warriors series and priced at USD $159.99, Baldigus is the recolor of Bruticus known as Ruination in Robots In Disguise 2001, AKA Car Robots! Sporting Hasbro Computron's upgraded hands and feet, if Baldigus is the last of the line, it's a pretty high point to go out on! Keep reading for a link.
We continue our look at the basic workings of action figures today with swivels! A basic bore at the neck, shoulder, and hip but a welcome helper at the bicep, waist, and thigh, swivels are everywhere on a Transformer. How do they work and what can go wrong? Keep reading to find out!
Today RAC takes a look at the first of the three primary forms that toy articulation can take: the hinge. Probably the most-used joint on Transformers figures due to their utility in transformation mechanisms, hinges still do a lot of heavy lifting for the humanoid form as well - especially if you do it properly and lift from the knees. Keep reading for more!
Hey, Luna 2 has returned to Functionist Cybertron! What great timing that can't possibly portend disaster! Dissolution, Part 4: Bad Moon Rising is written by James Roberts with art by Jack Lawrence and colors by Joana Lafuente. Click here to go to the review
