Japanese site Hobby Collection has posted a list of upcoming releases from TakaraTomy from the end of April through June of 2015. The Transformers Adventure heading continues to play host to both RID 2015 and a mix of other items including Generations figures not falling under the Legends Series in Japan. There are no pictures so far, but some interesting things in the text. Keep reading!
Now, let's translate some of that!
4/25 TAV13 Nemesis Prime ¥2,500
4/25 TAV14 Ultra Magnus ¥4,300
5/30 TAV15 Lockdown ¥3,500
5/30 TAV16 Bombshell ¥1,300
5/30 TAV17 Shrapnel ¥1,300
6/27 TAV18 Drift ¥2,500
6/27 TAV19 Powerglide ¥1,300
6/27 TAV20 Cosmos ¥1,300
6/27(tentative) TAVVS03 VS Set ¥4,500

6/27 QT21 Skids (Suzuki Hustler)¥999
6/27 QT22 Drift (Mazda RX-7 FD3S)¥999
According to this list, what we'd previously heard designated the HA-series seems to be reclassified as TED, though we don't have information on what the abbreviation stands for. It's the same sub-branding that held Hyperchange and One-Step Changer molds previously. "Big Optimus Prime" likely refers to the large Three-Step RID Optimus figure we've seen recently.
Some missing Generations Legends like Shrapnel and Cosmos have finally appeared, along with newer figures Powerglide and Bombshell. Raising questions are Nemesis Prime at the Deluxe-equivalent level, and Ultra Magnus at Voyager. The latter could be a Takara release of Beast Hunters Voyager Ultra Magnus which did not have a release in Japan previously. Nemesis Prime could be a redeco of any number of yet-unrecolored Deluxe-or-so Optimus figures, or even a black version of Orion Pax. Meanwhile Lockdown at a price midway between Deluxe and Voyager equivalents doesn't immediately point to anything specifically. The Transformers Adventure series has shown signs of bringing back some Animated molds in previous lists, or it may be something completely unrelated.
Finally a small assortment of new Q Transformers, with another Convoy because Convoy, Megatron as a Lamborghini, plus a Skids and a Drift. We'll keep watch for solicitation photos to come out, perhaps with this month's hobby magazines which should start appearing soon. Stay with us for further updates!
