Box Office Mojo reports that Transformers: The Last Knight has fallen to 5th place in box-office revenue for the week from last week's position of third. In its third week in release Transformers 5's take fell 62% from last week's number of $16 Million - itself a 62% drop from opening weekend. Wonder Woman was the fourth-place film, followed by Edgar Wright's Baby Driver in third place, Despicable Me 3 in second, and predictably Spider-Man: Homecoming in first place.
TF5 isn't the only film falling short of expectations, though it did worse than most: Homecoming was projected to hit $120 million, but didn't quite get there. So far, Wonder Woman seems to be the only summer blockbuster this year to defy financial expectations in a positive way.
