Spychangers are everywhere these days...and not. Over night we're got three new sets to chase after. Fans have been hunting for Tiny Tins, add the Wave 2 Clear Spychangers just listed in Previews and top it off with the new Super Spychangers that have been recalled in Japan.
Transformers: Spychangers Wave 2 Figures
Finally! Previews lets the cat out of the bag on the mysterious re-colored transparent Spychangers figures that were popping up on eBay a couple month ago. Many fans were confused by reports the toys would be Target exclusives or part of the Tiny Tins series.
Its no surprise they are simply the second wave of the Transparent "Stealth Mode" Spychangers. Read the info from Preview as follows:
The 1:64 scale Spychangers feature clear bodies to simulate their stealth mode invisibility! This wave is scheduled to include: Breakdown, Drag Strip, Motormaster, Dead End, and Wildracer. Blister card packaging. Scheduled to ship in July 2003.

Takara's New Super Spychangers Figures Recalled
Earlier this month Takara released a new line in Japan, based on the Go-bots/RiD molds, called "Super Spychangers." The cars come packaged much like the PVCs toys in individual unmarked boxes and sold in cases of 12 with clear chase figures mixed in to make it fun. If you got a set of these you should be glad, really glad. Because for some unknown reason Takara is recalling the Super Spys and with a statement that they will never make these molds again. It is not know why at the time of this writing, but I have confirmed they have in-fact been recalled with three separate sources in Japan.
