Transformers Headmasters DVD Set Cover Art; Super-God Masterforce & Victory Next

Amazon has added the cover art to their product page for the Transformers Headmasters DVD box set, Shout! Factory's upcoming release of TakaraTomy's Japan-only series.

The cover art has the ubiquitous Generation 1 "Transformers" logo with the words "The Japanese Collection" above the logo and "Headmasters" near the bottom of the box.

Super-God Masterforce and Victory Expected

In addition to this set, Shout! Factory's Brian Ward also hints that we should expect "at least" TakaraTomy's Transformers Super-God Masterforce and Victory will follow-up the Headmasters series.

Mr. Ward says that Transformers "Headmasters will certainly be used as a rough gauge of the series' popularity.

"After all, it is the only one of the three that is a direct continuation from S3, so we wouldn't necessarily expect the same response to the subsequent series."

Beyond that, he cannot promise anything more, including Scramble City or Zone, at this time.

I can say that you should expect follow-ups of at least Super-God Masterforce and Victory.

I can't really make any promises, regarding Scramble City or Zone at this time.

That being said, Headmasters will certainly be used as a rough gauge of the series' popularity.
