Christian Rock Band Skillet Comments on Transformers Dark of the Moon Soundtrack

There really is more than meets the eye to Transformers. We've got christian rockers Skillet on the soundtrack for Transformers Dark of the Moon. Just like the 1000s of robot characters in the Universe, there is indeed something for everyone with the crossover hit "Awake and Alive." Skillet was chosen for the TF3 sound track. Band member comments on being chosen for the movie coming June 29th.

"We’ve been trying to get a song in a movie for a long time," said bassist-lead singer John Cooper, 36, in a phone interview before a concert in Bessemer, Ala. "But the song did well on mainstream rock radio, and I think that did something for us. It’s a first step."
