Now THAT looks like Ultra Magnus. I am absolutely fine with Magnus being super robot sized. He's not even all THAT big either. He looks to be about the same size of CW Magnus which is a little shorter than TL Super Ginrai and Haslab Star Saber. At least he's shorter than Armada Prime in super mode in any event.
And while I understand not going the Siege/Kingdom Magnus route with the armor going on a base figure as it doesn't work that well in practice, I wouldn't mind this being more like G1 PMOP/Super Ginrai or Star Saber in that the smaller figure becomes a component of the torso area. So just like CW Magnus with the PE upgrade. I envision this getting a similar upgrade and I am all for it.
I couldn't care less about the detaching limbs but it's a non intrusive feature so that's cool. The torso coming apart like that might actually aide in the upgrade of that part to a full transforming cab robot.
I've been waiting for this Ultra Magnus my whole life.
