The Malay Mail Online reports that the exhibition will be part of the "Visit Penang 2015" tourism appeal, and there will be laser light shows daily in the evenings. GEORGE TOWN, July 1 ― Calling all Autobots… a 30-foot Optimus Prime and a 20-foot Bumblebee will roll out at the Esplanade here from July 10 to September 17.

These two towering Autobots will be displayed in an outdoors Transformers exhibition at the Esplanade for these two months.

Making the announcement today, Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said the event is Southeast Asia's first ever outdoor Transformer exhibition.

“The exhibition is free for the public and people can take selfies with the Transformers free of charge,” he told a news conference at his office here.

The Transformers are weather-hardy, which is why it can be placed outdoors; the exhibition will be open from noon to midnight every day.

There will also be a laser light-and-sound effects show in the evening from 7.30pm onwards daily.

The exhibition is held in conjunction with Visit Penang 2015 and also with the 2015 Hari Raya Aidil Fitri celebrations.

The exhibition will be officially launched on July 10 where other exhibits planned for the exhibition will be revealed.

By way of Zone Base proprietor and RFC alum Rob Springer, we've got a video posted by L.C.A.Studios, the promotional arm of Universal Studios Japan! The "Universal Spectacle Night Parade" featured an Optimus Prime-themed float, a massive animatronic Bumblebee, some extremely neon (in the lighting sense of the word, not toy-collector slang for `90s colors) NEST troopers. The full video runs about 23 minutes, but we've got the embed set to pick up right about when Bumblebee makes his entrance - keep reading to check it out!
BBTS have done it again, bringing hard to find exclusive Transformers toys to fans everywhere. They have just posted a pre-order page for the Transformers Dinobot Deluxe Snarl that is a Universal Studios exclusive item, available only in their them park shops, until now!
Just up on the Chinese social site, Biadu. We have a look at the Unmasked Optimus Prime Studio Series figure revealing the Autobot Leader's face sculpt. This is the second time a mask-less figure has surfaced. Now, it is showing up in China. Could this be a cancelled prototype, a special edition, or a variant? Check out the image gallery with looks at comparison shots and more in the gallery below.
Even quicker than expected, we have first looks at the transformation processes for both Megatron and Brawl from Voyager wave 2 of the Studio Series line. Megatron has a quick process from tank-thing to robot, taking under two minutes, and using some classic Lockdown tricks to expand the robot out of the fairly compact alternate form. Brawl similarly finished in about two minutes, though appeared rather more of a fiddly process to go from tank to robot than Megatron. Both are part of longer videos that include other toys, but the videos open on the new Voyagers, so you can check them out easily - find the videos embedded below!
Tonight we're looking at several photos of the upcoming Studio Series Megatron and Brawl, whoch will make up the second Voyager wave. The photos were shared by is456, and give us views of the front and back of both boxes, plus images of the toys themselves, albeit still secured to their plastic trays. Hopefully we'll be seeing more comprehensive looks at these two figures soon to get an idea of how their transformations work and how well they match up in terms of build and poseability to Optimus and Starscream from the first wave. Check out all the pictures, just below!
