The Malay Mail Online reports that the exhibition will be part of the "Visit Penang 2015" tourism appeal, and there will be laser light shows daily in the evenings. These two towering Autobots will be displayed in an outdoors Transformers exhibition at the Esplanade for these two months.
Making the announcement today, Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said the event is Southeast Asia's first ever outdoor Transformer exhibition.
“The exhibition is free for the public and people can take selfies with the Transformers free of charge,” he told a news conference at his office here.
The Transformers are weather-hardy, which is why it can be placed outdoors; the exhibition will be open from noon to midnight every day.
There will also be a laser light-and-sound effects show in the evening from 7.30pm onwards daily.
The exhibition is held in conjunction with Visit Penang 2015 and also with the 2015 Hari Raya Aidil Fitri celebrations.
The exhibition will be officially launched on July 10 where other exhibits planned for the exhibition will be revealed.
