Well well well, Just after posting the images and mention of the mystery of the Possible Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Meagatron Sharkticon. Those eagle eyed fellows over at Full Metal Hero spotted a very important bit of text promoting a new book about Megatron that reads: "Learn more about the ancient adventures of Megatron in Transformers: Retribution from Random House in Fall 2013." Additionally, the bio mentions something about a transformation via his weapon and dark energon remnants. Check out the image and bio for more details below, possible spoilers ahead...

There's actually some another interesting nuggets of information in his bio. First, It would appear Megatron and the Decepticons have lost control of Predacons, or something, and now he has two enemies to contend with. Second, it appears Megatron has once again found himself stranded alone without his army. We have been here before... and what is this about things being continued in Chapter 24 and a Night Shadow Bumblebee?

I any event, I have to say, that is pretty slick of Hasbro to sneak a toy out before the book. Well played Hasbro, well played. More, please!
