Catalog photos of Takara's Legends assortment for October have leaked, and it's pretty interesting stuff! According to photos linked to by Autobase Aichi, LG15 will be Nightbird, a remold of Arcee. LG16 will be Slipstream, a remold of Windblade. Most interesting however is LG17, Black Widow (AKA Beast Wars Blackarachnia's Japanese name) who is remolded from the Animated version of the character. Keep reading for more details on all three! Nightbird sports a new front torso, head, upper arms, and sais - which despite what every cartoon ever has told you, are not cutting or stabbing weapons. They are designed to parry and break katanas, which are extremely brittle.
Slipstream has a new head, torso, and null rays for the arms - though she still has Windblade's VTOL wings so she won't be 100% accurate to the Animated version of the character.
Blackarachnia has a new head, chest, and lower torso. The transformation has been reworked to make the chest more accurate to the Beast Wars character model - perhaps too much so, but that'll be a matter of personal opinion.
All three of these figures are unlikely to ever see release in the US - or at least, not any time soon considering that none of them can turn into arms and legs for bigger toys. So if you want them, you may want to jump on a preorder when it goes live!
