According to this commercial recently posted to the Discovery Family YouTube channel, Rescue Bots Academy finally has a premiere date in the United States! The long-awaited followup to Transformers Rescue Bots - the current record-holder for longest Transformers TV series - will debut Saturday, January 5th 2019 at 9AM EST/8AM Central on Discovery Family.
Academy is planned for two seasons of 52 11-minute episodes each, and replaces the original Rescue Bots cast - including Peter Cullen himself, originator of the role of Optimus Prime - with a new cast of nonunion voice actors.
