Hasbro Pulse has just sent out a notice to customers with Generations Selects Star Convoy on preorder. Star Convoy is a retool is Power of The Primes Optimus Prime as his resurrected/upgraded form from the late Japanese-G1 Return of Convoy line. Star Convoy was originally scheduled to ship at the end of this month, but has been delayed for undisclosed reasons. The figure is now expected to be released during the first week of November, a delay of about one month.
Currently, TakaraTomy Mall is still listing a 9/28 ship date for Star Convoy. This might represent a bit of lag time in updating the product listing (it was only about 7:30am in Japan when Pulse sent their notification) and we'll find that to also reflect a new, later date soon. Even just this year Star Convoy would not be the first TakaraTomy Transformers product to see a delay of a month or more versus the original schedule, though previously it has notably been happening with Masterpiece figures more than Generations.
