Many thanks to an anonymous tip for letting us know about a potential deal showing up at Walmart stores: a VA Walmart customer has sighted Generations Siege Commander Class Jetfire clearanced to roughly half its original price at $45! That's a great deal on what seems to be a pretty good (and pretty big) rendition of G1 Skyfire.
We'd like to point out, just for the record: Walmart clearance is extremely YMMV. We don't have any photographic proof of this at present, but this is a source we feel we can trust, so we're passing the heads-up onto our US readers. If you're in the neighborhood of a Walmart - and most Americans are - it's probably worth dropping in to make sure you're not missing a good deal on this figure! To do otherwise would be leaving money on the table.
Generations / ShopThis past Friday I bought 2 Siege Skyfires for $45 at my local Wal-Mart and was amazed that it was clearanced that fast after only a month-and-a-half WOW.
My Walmart had 2 for $45 dollars. A lot of Hasbro product was on sale.
I had three stores in Indianapolis at the $45 price but all were out of stock.??
just checked brickseek.com and he shows up at several (but not all) Walmarts at the clearance price. Most near me are sold out, but one store about an hour-and-a-half away shows one in stock at $45.
Now I'm wondering if the 3 hour trip would be worth it.
That was really quick! My local Walmart has received all of two Jetfires since setting the mod, and they both sold out almost immediately. I didn't think this toy was in clearance territory.
