Previews World has our first visuals for the Burning Convoy version of MP-38 Supreme Commander Optimus Primal, which was revealed through retailer listings earlier this week. Right now we have one image of the robot mode, and a layout image for the extra parts, but the big surprise we can see already is the use of clear plastic on the body. It had been expected that opaque colors would be used for animation accuracy, but it looks like the spirit of the original toy is being upheld!
Burning Convoy was the powerup form that the version of Optimus Primal who showed up in the Beast Wars II movie assumed alongside Flash Lio Convoy. Previews World has a release date listed as March 25th, 2020 for a suggested retail of $112.
