Daily Prime - Zone Victory Saber SCF ACT 7 Ultra Chase Figures

Make mine Takara! Yeah, I am a Japanese toy zealot and few Transformers characters are more Japanese than Star Saber and even more so, Victory Saber. Beyond the big C-324 Star Saber and C-327 Victory Leo sets. Takara offered a number of smaller Star Saber releases in the Seven licensed 1989 Transformers Jr, 2002 Mega SCF PVCs, 2002 SCF ACT 7 PVCs, 2004 Robotmasters, and finally the 2015 Masterpiece MP-24 that were made in celebration of this awesome Japanese Transformers character.

Today's shot takes a look at the complete set of SCF ACT 7 Victory Saber figures from 2002. While the unique chase characters were most desirable, the Star Saber also had add-on parts that upgraded the core SCF toy to his Victory Saber super battle mode. Not only did it come in cartoon, pewter, and gold chase colors. You also had to find the random parts to complete each one. This was the most elaborate and hard to build with having to find each of the wings, shoulder cannons, leg extensions, and the huge gun parts separately packed within another blind package. It took some hunting, and few good connections, but I was finally able to complete all three.
