We've come a long way since the Transformers first aired on September 17th, 1984 with an all new show on Netflix that brings everything full circle to a familiar timeline just before the Generations began with the Transformers War For Cybertron Trilogy on Netflix.
Today's Prime shot takes a look at the first and most recent generations of Optimus Prime with the original 1983 Takara Diaclone Battle Convoy and the most recent edition of the Autobot Leader figure Earthrise Optimus Prime. Shown here with the Nonnef trailer upgrade kit that adds the full Repair Bay with Roller, gas-pump, and other accessories. What is interesting is the Diaclone trailer appears too big because the Earthrise is too small. Regardless, the original Diaclone design is still all there only better than ever.
