Alt Mode Week takes a look at the brighter side of Optimus Prime collectibles. By "brighter" I mean vivid colors found on Thunder Clash (Thunderclash) and other Turbomasters European exclusives at the very end of Generation 1.
Many will recognize this mold from the Machine Wars Optimus Prime that was a KB Toys exclusive in 1997. Here we have a look at the original 1992 Thunder Clash (left) with more recent homages in the 2015 ToyHax Thunderclash Battle Core Optimus Prime (center) and the 2009 BotCon Timelines Wings of Honor Thunder Clash (right) a redeco of the Energon Rodimus figure.
