For Veterans Day, the Daily Prime salutes those who have served to protect their country with a look at the 2015 Transformers BotCon Timelines G2 General Optimus Prime. This figure is a realization of the unproduced Generation 2 figure of the same name that was to be a repaint of the 1995 Decepticon Auto Roller Dirtbag figure.

It was probably a good thing the original was canceled, because the subsequent release in the BotCon 2015 G2 Souvenir Exclusives 2-pack, with Sgt. Hound, which was based on the 2014 Generations Roadbuster mold makes for a much a better Autobot Commander In Chief figure overall that has been loaded up with great accessories.
