The Daily Prime is rolling out Transformers Legacy features all week long. Thanks to Hasbro who sent me the great toys to share with you today we are looking at the 2022 Legacy Versus the 1995 Generation 2 Optimus Prime figures.

Things have changed in 27 years, but the scale differences are not as different as I thought they would be. The Legacy Laser would actually be taller with a proportional torso. Ironically, we can see the 1995 figure suffers from the inverse of the 2022 figure with a tall torso and short legs. Otherwise, I think Legacy has refined this figure with much better dexterity than the original even with the Matrix showing in his chest. I do get what they are trying to do with combining weapons in Legacy, but classic weapons would have been preferable on an updated version.
