Just in from Baidu member 震荡大波波 we have some look at what are being called prototype images of the Takara TOMY Transformers Masterpiece MP-57 Skyfire figure. Obviously, the figure is incomplete and may not be authentic, but the timing seems to be right. Stay tuned for more updates that they come in.

This looks incredible. I can't believe that Takara got away with this much of a nod to Macross.

Not what I envisioned to be a MP Skyfire. Even if you are looking for a toon accurate version , this would miss the mark.
