Following the Plastic Free packaging, it appears there is a good reason Hasbro updated the Authetics packaging as they will be adding Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts to the line. Just in are images from Ebay revealing the "Courageous Maximal Warrior" Cheetor will be joining the line, and may have given us our first look at the robot mode for the movie character.
The cat mode clearly looks like the more robotic one shown in the recent Teaser Trailer, but we only see his robot briefly from behind as he transforms. Additionally, the box art also appears to be brand new and have more of a movie look than retro Beast Wars.
Not liking this Cheetor as much as I'm liking either Airazor. I think it's the brown. It looks unfinished and not in a skimping on paint apps kind of way. There really looks like there should be quite a bit more paint on this than there is. Or rather it looks like the brown parts are from a color test prototype and that this example was cobbled together using those parts as well as more accurate prototype pieces.
But we won't really know until we get some official images.
Overall though the robot arms don't hide away quite as nicely as they do on Kingdom Cheetor but in exchange, the arms look better. The back and shoulder kibble looks better too. I also do like how the legs transform. It looks like they learned quite a bit from Kingdom Cheetor and Tigatron as well.
