MIP Monday kicks off another Alt Mode Week with a look at the 1990 Transformers Action Master Optimus Prime! The Action Master robots gave up the “power of transformation to become stronger faster more alive”, as promoted in the original TV commercial.
These characters didn't transform, but their accessories did. Arguably, none more than the Optimus Prime set that transforms from Armored Convoy to Autobot Battle Headquarters and Strato-Recon Space shuttle. The sizable set also included an arsenal of guns and cannons.
