Daily Prime - Original Super Mode Convoy Model Sheets Reveal Different Alt Mode

More concept design goodness is here with a look at these Transformers Micron Densetsu Super Mode Convoy Model Sheets. Thanks to TFraw who have been archiving Transformers rarities, we can have a look at some drawing board views of the original Legends of the Microns Convoy that would be released in America as Armada Super Mode Optimus Prime.

These images show some interesting views working out different aspects of the robot mode that didn't change a lot from the final toy produced. However, the alternate mode design is where we see something very different with a long-nosed cab design somewhat reminiscent of G2 Laser Prime. Thankfully, this was idea was scrapped for the futuristic design that we have in the original, and coming Legacy Evolution series.
