I'm not really sure how everyone missed this. I couldn't find anything about it on any other big news websites, and it was posted on BotCon's website two days ago! The convention will be held at American Dream in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Anyways, here is the post with all the details and hotel registration links:
This years BotCon will not only be easily accessible to the thousands of Transformers fans in New York/New Jersey, but also to the fans in the neighboring areas of Baltimore, Philadelphia, DC, and Boston.
Regardless of where you live in the U.S. or abroad, you will want to join us at BotCon this year for a Transformers convention like never before!
American Dream is a massive indoor entertainment facility featuring the western hemispheres LARGEST indoor amusement park, North America’s largest indoor water park, two Miniature golf courses, a ski slope and resort with REAL snow, Aquatic attractions, a skating rink, a 300 ft Ferris Wheel (featuring an amazing view of Manhattan), and so much more!
You will also be able to visit Legoland, the two level flagship Toys R Us store, and dozens of other themed stores and activity locations. Food options obviously are not an issue as well, with everything under the sun available to your and your friends/family.
The convention itself will be held in the all-new 27,000 square foot Dream Live, a space within American Dream dedicated to exhibits and trade shows!
And all of this is JUST the location for the show! All of the sites and tourist options are right next door for you to see in the incredible city of New York!
Get ready for a Transformers convention like you’ve never experienced before! We will be updating daily with additional details about what you can experience at American Dream while attending the original Transformers convention, BotCon!
For details on American Dream visit here and then be sure to book your hotel stay here.
Please be sure to read the Guarantee and Cancellation Policy while making your reservation.

Oh, and BotCon has posted two MORE ticket packages on Agabyss. These are two different experience packages with different voice actors. One is the "Botcon 2023 Angry Birds Golf Experience Package (With Garry Chalk and Susan Blu)," where ticket holders play on the Angry Birds Mini Golf Course with none other than Garry Chalk and Susan Blu! Similar is the "Botcon 2023 Rollercoasters & Rides with Rattrap Experience Package (With Scott McNeil and Venus Terzo)," where ticket holders can go on some of the various rides at the Nickelodeon Universe section of the mall. It should be noted that both of these events are happening at the same time, so you can't do both of them even if you buy tickets for both. We need to spread the news quickly here, as so far NOBODY has bought tickets for these experiences, and BotCon is only 3 days away! We don't want Garry, Susan, Scott, and Venus to have no one to have fun with!
With BotCon 2023 only a week away, here are a few more announcements before the convention starts.
First of all, for the first time in 7 years, the Custom Class figure will feature a brand new head sculpt! I think that we can all agree that Azim Venksta did an amazing job digitally sculpting and rendering it.
Quote To all our crafty friends out there, we have a couple new Custom Class updates for you! Starting with a look at the NEW head sculpt for the Class figure! Some might notice on the schedule a "Podcasters & Youtubers Panel." Two of the people that will be appearing on this panel have been announced, that being RodimusPrimal and Deluxe Baldwin. Hopefully more podcasters and Youtubers will be announced soon.
Quote We're thrilled to announce the first two of our YouTuber/influencer guests: RodimusPrimal and Deluxe Baldwin! We're excited to have them on hand for the weekend and are looking forward to hearing what they have to say about the world of toy reveals, retrospectives, and video discussions!
And last but not least, Robosen themselves will be present at the convention! They will be presenting on the American Dream Main Stage sometime on Friday, and will be selling products in the Vendor Room.
Quote Next week we will be spotlighting our numerous exhibitors for BotCon '23, but this one can't wait! Straight from Dinobot Island, we are thrilled to announce that one of our featured vendors is none other than Robosen, the company behind the all-new Flagship Grimlock figure. Robosen Grimlock is the world's first Dual-form, BiPedal walking robot! Check out the amazing video again here and now and then in two weeks get ready to see this amazing masterpiece of robotics and engineering in person at BotCon '23!
Following the attendee teaser, BotCon has posted images showcasing the two souvenir figures that will be available at the show:
Clearly the folks at BotCon and 52Toys are paying attention to the Transformers fandom, as "Rodimouse" has been a character long joked about. Images below.
After revealing the box set, BotCon has posted one more image on their exclusives page, showing a 52Toys Box Charger repainted in what appears to be energon cube colors, along with the caption "Teaser: Attendee Incentive Figure."
BotCon has just posted images for all of the members of this year's box set. This includes the following:
Despite the individual members being canines, they combine into a dinosaur, leading to a very clever choice on BotCon's part to repaint the original BeastBox toys in Dinobot colors! Images below:
BotCon has posted numerous guest updates, including Simon Furman, Bob Budiansky, Dick Terhune, and the legendary Gary Chalk! More details available on BotCon's guest page.
Big news today, as BotCon has shared ticket info as well as our first look at the BotCon 2023 convention exclusive box set. Tickets are available here:
And for those of you wondering about the box set, it is still a set of four BeastBox toys produced by company 52Toys. Image below.
Still no info on tickets, but BotCon has posted an update about a very special guest. The one and only Scott McNeil will be attending BotCon this year! View the tweet below for more info:
if this is possible box art it has to be something G1 . its an exact match from episode 1 about 8:43 in to the episode
BotCon has posted two new updates on their socials related to the upcoming 2023 event. First, when asked about ticket pricing, they replied saying it will be available in April. Additionally, they said the convention box set will be revealed next month, along with a possible sneak peek at the box art?
