First off, big shout outs to Ittoku Kuwazu san and Shogo Hasui san from Takara Tomy. Working with them on this guy was a dream come true. Devcon always had a demanding presence, great color scheme, and just an overall amazing design aesthetic thats all been captured here on this wicked cool looking figure.

Great articulation and sculpt work here, its amazing how different he is from his mold mate Blurr. Partials are always fun to work on, I think everyone really enjoys looking at a figure and trying dream up a way to turn them into a version of your favorite bot.

I didn’t have an earthrise Smokescreen sadly but early in the process Takara sent over photos in grey prototype model form with his boy. They just look stellar together.
