Just up on the SNS by way of Autobase Aichi, is news from Tokyo Toy Show of a new MasterPiece Beast Wars Rhinox release, as well as a MPG Series release of a Raiden Diaclone colors edition maybe coming soon from Takara Tomy Transformers MasterPiece line. The news was shared in the official new product panel at the events' Takara Tomy Hobby Stage. The translated report below gives us some details on what shown.
Masterpiece MPG new development. An illustration of the head to the chest that seems to be a combined robot is released. He has a cannon on his shoulder. No other specific information. The illustration is similar to MPG Raiden, but a design that does not exist in the combined robots that have appeared in previous Transformers works.

Even if you do like them, it seems like Rhinox is just a terrible choice for a figure, no matter what they do. Maybe it will take an MP to do it right, but it seems to be an issue with any bulky animal forms like elephants, bison, etc they have to make a shell for the beast mode that always compromises the robot form.
Which is odd since you'd think they'd hide some of that kibble in the big barrel chests that Rhinox toys have. If they engineered it right, most of it could go there. There's normally quite a bit of kibble on Rhinox's design but you're right in that they perhaps make too much kibble with his toys.
For me, I just couldn't care less about MP Beast Wars figures anymore after Kingdom. Other than Airazor. Make her already. The rest I won't be getting anymore. I did want them though but not anymore. I just don't do MP figures unless I have to and I don't have to anymore for BW characters. Sorry Takara.
Just make Airazor though and soon.
