Lots more views of the Titan Nemesis In-hand Images of Transformers Legacy Evolution Decepticon Spaceship just in from the TFND group. Check out the newest biggest figure to hit retail in all her glory along with some notes on the good, bad, and the purple in the translated notes and images that follow.
Two years ago the Titans introduced the Autobot's mothership, the Ark
Two years later, finally the mothership of the Decepticons, the Nemesis, also appeared
The completion of the battleship type itself is very high
It's like flying straight out of the play
Due to the shape, there is really no way to place it directly for display
So there is a special design to expand the vertical wings below
Institutions used as showcases
The bridge is pretty well drawn
And there are also transparent parts
The turrets are independently rotatable and disassembled
In addition, the flanks can also open the development entrance
Send the attached Mini Decepticons into
The inlet can also be deployed under the main nozzle of the tail
Fully stimulating the imagination when playing
Transforming into a robot form is an original setting like the Ark
Compared to Ark, Nemesis' robot form is quite skinny
And the torso is small and the hands and feet are big
Standing directly is really a bit of a gorilla posture
Fortunately, after a little adjustment, I can still put on a handsome stance
The head and the chest have expansion mechanisms when deforming
Hands are long and have double elbow joints
In theory, it's better to move
However, due to joint position and parts interference
It's actually a little underwhelming
The weapon is to remove the small side wings and large tail fin of the battleship type
The flanks become small handaxes, and the tail becomes a large gun
But visually, it can only be said to be a bit ordinary
Personally, I think it would be more bold if the rear wing is folded a little.
But the flanks like the little flag are a bit hopeless XD
Playability
The Ark can also dismantle the bridge and turn it into a Mainframe
Rich in playability
But presumably everyone in this group is focusing on the battleship type
In fact, the performance is satisfactory
personally feel sorry
That is, if there is a bridge that can be opened like the Ark
And put it in the mechanism of mini dolls to play
I'm only whelmed by this.
Seeing as to how the legs and arms transform and how few moving parts there actually are and a few other factors, this should have been a bit better. Or rather, at least better proportioned. She's fine and all and I like the spindley look of her but I just wish that at least the thighs were longer. The short torso is fine as are the insanely long arms even if the shoulders should be better. It's just I really hate short thighs on Transformers figures. I also wish the guns did a little more to help them look like guns.
It's just that compared to Cybertron Metroplex especially and even the Ark and Mainframe, the Nemesis is a little lackluster overall.
So the shoulders, the short thighs and the guns aren't doing it for me with this figure but otherwise it's pretty cool. Oh yeah, the tiny axes are laughable as well.
Looking back at the design sketches, the shorter thighs might have worked better had she had those digitigrade or reverse legs. But ultimately, I like the ones where parts of the alt mode itself became the thighs.
Or it could've just looked more like the official character designs. The long and tall shoulder pylons going off to the sides of the shoulders look really good. As do the better proportioned legs with the bulkier thighs and the legs in general that don't stand straight. That's a good design, shame it didn't quite translate into plastic all too well though.
Ah, yes. "Evo-Fusion."
This is pretty sweet! She looks great and I like the idea of the bottom "fin" to fold apart for landing (or crashing into a Peruvian mountain range). ?
I also find it funny that both Siege Seeker Skywarp and Earthrise Thrust are teased on the front of the boxart. ?
