Daily Prime - G1 Super Collection Figure Week: Optimus Prime Truck Mode

Day 4 of Super Collection Figure Week, we are hitting the highway with the G1 SCF ACT Convoy Truck Mode figures. Starting in 2000, Takara made 3" figurines featuring Convoy with his Energon-Axe, ION Blaster, Megatron Gun, Truck Modes, and other forms and features that appeared at one time or another in the 1985 Japan Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers cartoon - the in-language version of the American Generation 1 series. Takara produced quite a few G1 SCF figures in 6 ACTs over 3 years. We will be looking at all the SCF ACT Prime releases this week.

Takara worked out the non-transforming thing by making the full on Truck Mode for Convoy. This mold was initally rolled out in ACT2 in Anime and Clear colors. Later it was released in a metallic deco with the Special The Earth Obliteration Plan Wonder Festival Exclusive Convoy set. Shown below in the image as follows, left to right:
